New Playtime web user interface
The Mediator's Playtime automation option introduces a new web user interface. Playout control can now be managed from multiple remote locations whilst sharing the Mediator central ingest, storage and playout infrastructure. By flexibly locating playout management away from central playout facilities, Playtime allows operations to be distributed to the most convenient location. Talent in the local market can produce and actively manage channels whilst leveraging economies of scale in their central technical infrastructure
Access a single platform to manage and deliver content
For the first time, international broadcasters and service providers can view playlists and manage playout operations remotely. Playtime is fully integrated with the Mediator content management platform and all the information required to manage global playout from any location is provided using the Playtime user interface.
This allows playout and publishing operations to be distributed between international broadcasters, service providers, their affiliates and clients.

The new Playtime web interface also has many unique features not found in traditional automation systems such as thumbnails of every piece of material, enabling easy recognition of the correct material by busy playout operators.
