Exception is an alarm and monitoring product that works with Pilot giving users and operators real-time information about alarms and equipment in the system.
Exception has many plug-in modules to enable broadcasters to create an alarm system ideally suited to their facility:

- Collect SNMP, GPI and other alarms for the same processing as native Pharos alarms.
- Send e-mails, GPI's, Tallies, or any other notification
- All alarms logged in XML format for trend and fault analysis.
