You can't improve what you can't measure and so Mediator introduces a unique range of business reports to improve both short-term and long-range planning. Every action and process in Mediator is tracked in real-time and can be compared with business priorities such as the schedule or service level agreements (SLAs)
Mediator Dashboards provide live information to determine the optimal allocation of infrastructure and resources. Dashboards can provide real time displays of exceptions that need to be dealt with urgently, such as low free space on a server or material not approved or ready for transmission. Mediator workflow states such as QC pass/fail or TX approved can also be reported in accordance with service level agreements to measure and improve business performance and continuity.
Mediator Analysis displays give management information, including historical data, with which to evaluate operational performance. This information can be used for long-range planning to determine system load and user efficiency. This analysis can model, for example, the addition of a new channel within an existing infrastructure based on a change in workflow to increase efficiency.
Mediator Lists provide operators working in areas such as Library or Ingest with daily 'pick lists' or 'transfer request lists' to keep work moving at all times. Mediator Lists can also be provided to third parties such as channel management, rights and traffic providers.
Mediator Business Reports can also be used remotely using standard web Interfaces. Mediator Business Reports allow business monitoring and analysis to drive efficiency throughout the content management and publishing process. For the first time content owners, broadcasters and service providers can monitor how accurately they are meeting applicable Service Level Agreements with real-time reporting, directly from the Mediator content management system.
